This young woman came to our Capital District office because she wanted to have her body back after multiple pregnancies.  She developed changes of her breasts and belly which she had been unable to improve with diet and exercise.  She wished to feel like herself again and came in to discuss a mommy makeover. 

A mommy makeover is a constellation of procedures that include breast enhancement, tummy tucks, and liposuction.  These procedures can be combined to restore a woman’s body following the changes that have occurred with pregnancies.  These can be done on an outpatient basis with a roughly two week recovery period.  

In this case, a breast lift with silicone implants, a tummy tuck and liposuction was performed.  The breasts were lifted and silicone implants were placed to give an improved breast shape and position.  Her belly was treated with a combination of a tummy tuck and liposuction.  The liposuction removed some unwanted fat from her central abdomen and waist, while the tummy tuck was used to tighten the skin and muscles, and remove her indented scar.  These photographs six weeks after the surgery show the amount of improvement that can be achieved.  She now feels like herself again, and her self-confidence is restored.
