Breast Augmentation Before & After Case 168

This 27-year-old female has always felt that her breasts were too small for her frame. She was particularly uncomfortable during the summer months when activewear and bathing suits fit poorly.  She has felt self-conscious for several years about her inability to even fill an A-cup bra and wished to be proportionate and have nice cleavage. For these reasons, she inquired about breast augmentation at our Albany practice.

Her preoperative photos demonstrate a significant space between the 2 breasts. We used a 3-dimensional approach to select the breast implants, and we decided on silicone implants that had sufficient width to expand the base of her breasts and narrow the space between them. This improved her cleavage and was one of the keys to creating a natural-looking result. We used a 340 cc moderate-profile silicone implant, which allowed this woman to go from an A-cup to a C-cup bra size. She is quite happy with the results and doing great.
