What Is Laser-Assisted Liposuction? 

Laser-assisted liposuction uses laser energy to melt fat cells, making suctioning them out of the body easier. Your LipoAI Treatment 

Dr. Rockmore performs LipoAI as an outpatient procedure in the fully accredited surgery center near his office. He uses local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia, depending on the treatment areas and the extent of fat removal. During your consultation, he will discuss the best option for you to ensure you feel comfortable throughout the procedure. 

During the procedure, Dr. Rockmore inserts the laser-tipped LipoAI cannula through small, discreet incisions near the targeted fat. The AI system then assists in precisely melting fat cells while preserving the surrounding tissues. Next, Dr. Rockmore either suctions away the melted fat through the cannula or leaves it to be processed by the body if the area is small, such as a double chin. You will return home on the day of surgery in the care of an adult friend or family member.  

What Is LipoAI Recovery Like? 

One of the most notable benefits of LipoAI is its reduced recovery time. Most patients can return to light activities within a few days, and full recovery typically takes 2 to 3 weeks. Because the laser seals blood vessels, bruising and bleeding will be minimal. 

Dr. Rockmore will provide detailed postoperative care instructions to ensure a smooth recovery and optimal results. You may need to wear a compression wrap or garment to minimize swelling, help the skin heal smoothly over your new contours, and provide support during the healing process. 

To help with healing after your surgery, we can perform a lymphatic drainage massage using LipoAI’s PLUS technology. We offer a lymphatic massage package available through our office.  

Results 

While you may notice some slimming and firming right after your procedure, your final LipoAI results become more noticeable as swelling decreases, usually within 1 to 3 months. You’ll enjoy a smooth, slimmer, more contoured appearance that enhances your natural shape.
